Garden of Fluorescent Flowers serves to be a truthful memoir of a child of the border's growth into belonging.  The desire for longing to exist within a home is reflected in small stories and vignettes, creating a complete picture of conflict and rejuvenation. 

 

Through the use of video, animation, poetry, and performance, Garden of Florescent Flowers serves to display issues in an interdisciplinary approach.  Within the contemporary context, a home may be found in this borderland.
