Texas Triptych
2019
Youth Collaboration of the Arts is proud to premiere its fifth production, Texas Triptych. Texas Triptych is an original play written and directed by Ali Dipp and marks the organization's fifth play. Featured in the Community Foundation's Jewel Box Series, the play will take place on April 14th at 2:30 PM at the Philanthropy Theatre (located in the Plaza Theatre). Tickets are $16, and all profits will benefit the Annunciation House, an organization that assists immigrants and refugees.
Texas Triptych is a reading that tells the tale of a young woman who returns home to her elder sister and ailing mother in a small desert town. Together the sisters experience a transforming revival in the wake of betraying and loss. Throughout their story, the question remains: In the wake of death, can life preserve?
